not good... Take it back to the dealer immediately. But just to let you know.. he steering and brakes do indeed work without the engine running. Just not as good.

you have a new ford, roadside assistance came with it they should tow it to the dealer if the car is a hazard.

sounds like this

Boss LS shutting off

in a nutshell this was the cause
"It had a loose ground wire in the passenger fender"
