yes I would be mad, depending on the situation, but there would be no legal actions I could take if no damage was done to the car. And youre not stealing anything. To continue with your analogy if I saw someone remove a bra on my car and they did so in haste and scratched the car or didnt put it back on then Id be really ****ed, but if they gently removed it, took a pic and then put it back on I would be slightly angered about them not asking and in the case of these drivers of the "camo" cars would be ****ed that they got the better of me but would be in no way as upset as if they did it maliciously.
It may be an unspoken code but I dont think there is anything they could legally do about it. And if I saw one of these stangs parked unattended I would be hard pressed to not unzip a panel or two...lol.

nothing that I've seen.
the latest has been the rumours have been the 5.0 and 5.0 TwinForce
