2010 Imagery at Flat Rock

Pulled up Google maps today to see if I could see any "ramp 51" labels.

You can clearly see (or not... **** this vBulletin!) the rail loading area as well as the truck loading area.

And a TON of Mustangs. When you scroll the whole Google map (not all pictured), there's a lot to the south/southeast just packed full. (Second image... betting that's Ramp 51... out of the way and not really staged for shipment.)

Yes, I realize the imagery could be old-ish.

Sorry, those images date from June 2007 (note presence of yellow/grabber orange cars). Google Earth is better at showing the dates of the images.

I hear ya... but the message at the bottom of the Google map screen shows 2010. Maybe they're Mazda 6's....

Either way, I'm still thinking the area in the second pic is ramp 51.

It is the only area on the site where the cars could be "stacked up against the fence", and only relatively few of them at that.

Anyone know where the Vehicle Personalization Center is? I'm betting it's the small square building (with oil stains around it) in the larger lot below the two you've shown so far.

From StreetView, there is a big "52" on the sign at the entrance to that lot, so if that's not it, it's very close by.

I'm actually to the point of having dreams, (nightmares?) about this ****. I went to Flat Rock to see if trucks were rolling out of the holding lots. It was 6 AM, and there was nothing on the road. Deserted!
I'm thinking, OK, it's 6 AM, but don't they have a third shift? Shouldn't some trucks be rolling out?

This post will eventually be reported as true, that someone actually did this.

Someone should just call the CIA and have them re-task a spy sat to fly over and get some pictures...

My cities shipping yard is 5 mins from my house. The day I got the call from my dealer that the car arrived at the yard, I couldn't sleep right until I finally got it 5 days later.

That's only 5 days...i can't imagine how you guys are coping. Kudos on the patience so far!!
