Yeah, I don't think I'd like it.

I've said this before, but I'd like to see the S197 "Coupe" (which really has a profile similar to the '65-'66 fastback) look more like a '67-'68 fastback with the roofline tapering all the way back to the edge of the trunk. With a nice pair of hips, that would be one muscular looking machine, I think...

I do wonder if this "Mustard Yellow" is a new color in the pipeline...

Side markers will be a must. I'm thinking a wrap-around headlight bucket that incorporates a side marker. SN95-ish maybe? With fogs in the bumper.

Ford still hasn't moved the antenna to the glass. Come on Ford, you have to pay attention to the details!

Whilst there may be sidemarkers hiding under that camo, I think it's pretty clear the headlight buckets won't wrap around like the SN95 or Giugiaro concept car. The edges look similar to the S197. I just hope seperate markers don't mess up the front end......the '70 model markers looks tacked on to me.

In any event, we'll know what's there when they take off the camo; I just hope they do it well.

I do like the idea of the inboard lights but I think the Chromed plastic never looks quite like chrome. It tends to be TO shiny. I would have perfered Pollished aluminium or Brushed SS.
Also the wieght of the chrome frame is a little heavy from what I can see now but who knows maybe when the camo comes off CROW will be on the menu.

I agree that brushed would look better.

NO WAY!!! I LOVE the fastback look. I love the look so much, every car show I enter, when I fill out the windshield card with description, I always write in "Mustang GT Fastback". The car is much more of a fastback by definition, than a regular coupe (at least to me anyway).

Please Ford give me the same options list I had on my 85 5.0 T-Bird Elan"
I paid 17K for performance and comfort... that was 22 years ago

I think my next stang will be a V6 Vert...........keeping my 07

Unless they come back with a different T-Bird

Edit: Sold it with 210k miles for 800 dollars 6 years ago I should hae kept it............ can't find a good Fox body T-Bird now

Nope... No for sale sign for me. I like the Pony I have just fine.

One thing I notice about the new headlamp/turnlamp arrangement... It's total opposite in theme than the 1970 model where the 70 has the dual horizontal vent theme to the outside, the 2010 suggests the divided vents positioned inboard as parkinglamps. If Ford's intent was to capture the essence of the 1970 model they should have at least made the same departure as they did in 1970 and put the vents to the outside and enclosed the headlamps within a wider grille. I always liked the 1970 face a lot.

Notice how the new turnlamps also use old fashioned non-clear lenses. Not realy attractive IMO.

Oh man I really really really hope there will be a new yellow out. It made me so mad that they got rid of my fav color when I could finally afford one! If everything holds true to the release date for the '10 MY, then I should be back for a couple months or so before it's release. I can't wait!!! Better be a yellow or else...

I don't know what else, just always wanted to say that...lol.

OT: How do I put smilies in my sig? I want this one in there -
