Put the money you would spend on the GT500 stuff towards a blower. Or you could always use it for your mandates with ***** and Ice .

While it is your car and this is America where you can do what you want, I have to say I'm not a fan of tribute cars in general, or fobras in particular. Never understood that way of thinking.

The GT is a great car in it's own right, be proud of what you have!!!

Sure, I'd like to have a legit GT500, but I won't pretend that my GT is anything other than what it is.

I could have gotten a GT500, but chose not to. I would never have driven that car in anything other than sunny, perfect weather. It would have been too special to treat any other way.

I bought this car to drive, rain or shine. I can spend a fraction of the price difference and have similar performance, drive it all year, and still feel OK about that.

No disrespect intended, so i hope no offense is taken - just sharing my thoughts...

 

I say put the GT 500 hood and mask with Cobra emblems. Get a windshield banner that says Fake Snake, and call it good. Seriously, do what you like. The most wonderful thing about being an american is freedom to choose. Choose what you like and haters be damned.
