I love it. My Dad has a new 2010 Taurus Limited the same color (Red Candy). Its name is 'Big Red' and my Red Candy Mustang is named 'Little Red'. The color is beautiful. In the bright sun the color is normal. At night it seems to turn to a nice beautiful dark deep red. The color never changes to a strange tint or a strange shade of red under different lighting conditions, never changes to a pink or orange or anything like that. With the 'Red Tint' in the clear coat, it gives the color such depth. The paint looks so thick and deep.

Race Red seems to have a lot of orange in it and of corse its a lot lighter red with clear, clear coat (i think). In my opinion and only my opinion the Red Candy with the tinted clear coat is a very classy, luxurious and sporty color all rolled up together. It took me over two months of stress and mind changing to finally choose Red Candy with tinted clear coat.

You got it. I have an 08 Dark Candy Red and people just rave about the color when its in the sun. I could not order anything but Red Candy. Be interesting to see how it compares to the Dark Candy Red.

Very impressed by the 3.7. It was mentioned it didnt have the 3.31's but I could not verify this. Either way, it was way closer than I thought it would be. Good job.

I'm not surprised that the new V6 is close behind the 2010 GT, that is as expected from the numbers.

But I'm still glad I jumped for a 2010 GT, I never thought the V8 sound was such a big deal, but I'm lovin' every minute of it . . . . and getting close to 26 MPG on my commute which is about half highway and half backroads (very few stoplights) . . . and yes the Red Candy is beautiful, regardless of the engine.

My post that I've quoted above has the window stickers attached to it. I got the VINs from that dealer on YouTube.

What I want to see is real world MPG results. What's it take to get that 31mpg highway.

No surprise to me either on the V6 being so close. Reminds me of two different Yamaha motorcycles. Both Vtwins one is 1600cc and the other is 1100cc's both have about 55 and 50rwhp respectively, but the bigger bike has around 30lb-ft more tq. the 1100 rev's higher and is bit lighter. Guess which bike is faster? or should I say catches and passes the other
