2010 GT pricing and options
Hey bud, tell me one thing? Where did the price come from? I am currenlty at work, at the dealership and on CONCEPTS (the vehicle ordering system) and there are NO prices yet! I can't even enter a 2010 Mustang. The system won't let me! The only 2010 vehicle I can price out is a Fusion. I tried this on Friday night, with no luck and today, still nothing. Just wanted to know where you got it from thats all?

"Here is your buyer’s offer. I did get the 2010 pricing so we need to go through options and redo the quote. I am going to send you another quote attached so you can see the options that are available. There is already a rebate on the 2010. The GT Cal pgk isn’t avail for 2010. Can you please review the new quote so I can make the necessary changes before I submit the final quote. Thanks for your patience."

So much for all those folks who excused some of Ford's cost cutting on the basis that this car was going to be "inexpensive". A nicely optioned GT is going to cost you 40k with taxes. Think about that.

The one thing that I am having trouble figuring out is why the Security Package is nearly 3 times what it was in '09.
One of 2 reason come to mind. Reason 1, the cost of the ESC. Its no longer just traction control but total vehicle stability control. Reason 2, the price is wrong! I'll know for sure within 34 hours or so.
It was from Exchange New Car Sales (www.encs.com). Here is the body of the email that I received:
