very cool, thanks for sharing! BTW, can you order/buy a car on Sunday where you are located? I'm in IA and ALL car dealers are closed...I just assumed it was that way everywhere.

I'm actually in Iraq, so no Ford dealerships here. They have a way for us to buy new cars from over here though. We get special pricing and can have it delivered wherever we want.

Wow, some of those packages seem pretty pricing for what you're getting. A decked out GT getting close to $40k is a bit crazy.

No bad, considering that the current 2009 5-speed premium is $29520. That's a $575 difference.

Looks like we get Stability Control.

SOSPOST Crash Alert System? WTF?? Does it tell you before of after? LOL.

Not true, they are letting me put an order in for a 2010 Mustang with rebates, fully loaded is looking like $4,218 below MSRP.

It doesn't say specifically, but if I were to guess, it would be something similar to what Onstar does during a crash, automatically calling 911 for you.

Yeah, I kind of figured that, the name is kind of a dead give away (SOSPOST).

Maybe I should have added this instead of the LOL,

The big one, the electronics package isn't that farfetched. I believe it is the same system that is in the Flex and it is $2375 option on it, but the Mustang package also includes the dual zone climate control as part of that package. I think that is going to be a big sticking point with a lot of people that were looking forward to the new climate control and weren't interested in the nav system.

I know some folks will freak about $40K for a GT but when you look at content it makes sense. It looks like a modest price increase over last year. If you don't want to spend that kind of money just skip over the option sheet. My only concern if if they make you buy a loaded GT to get the track pack.

Hmmmm.... highly equipped 2010 GT, or '08-'09 GT500 still sitting on showroom floor for around the same price? That would be a tough call for spending around $40k.

That is scary. What will the 5.0/6 speed increase the price by?

I don't see how Ford gets away with charging so much for the NAV. It's more expensive then NAV in my Accord back in 03 when NAV was rare. Now with all the dozens of options out there that do the same thing the Ford Nav does with gas prices, weather, etc. it seems way too much.

For me it would be the 08 or 09 GT500 hands down.

The pricing isn't that much more than a '09, a loaded '09 GT is $36k, a loaded '10 GT is $37-38k.
