Ok. So it kind of looks like fastback with hips....and look at the front fender. Do I see a line similar to the 65 that sticks up?

Too much stuffing under the camo. Side mirror looks sweet.

you know, i might get a negative response from this but that 2010 mustang from what i CAN see doesnt seem that different from the current model. I think the current model is beautiful but i would expect a more dramatic design change. The only thing that is visible to me there is the hips.

It's really too early to tell. The overall shape is the same but apparently they've changed some sheet metal for the fenders, rear, and plastic facia.

From this profile view, it definitely looks like the rear is more angled forward to make the trunk shorter and in turn give it a more full fastback look without actually changing the greenhouse. Good stuff.

it's just a mid-cycle refresh. the greenhouse will remain unchanged but the rest of the sheet metal will be different. The interior will also be new.

wait till '13 or '14 for a completely new car.

New C Scoop

Something that I haven't seen many talk about is the new C scoop. The old Hockey Stick that are on our current cars needed to be changed and it looks to me as if it's going to look awesome. I circled two point in the seam of the door and front fender where there is no cammo and you can tell that the rest of the door isn't cammoed either. So the new scoop is really going to be that big. Looks good to me.

Still cannot warm up to the mirrors, I like 'em on my Fusion, but not real fond of them on the Stang. Maybe once the camo is off I will change my mind.

Really looks like the rear taillights are going to slant towards the front of the car
ala' nascar...making it look shorter than it really is. The fastback look and the hips are
looking great. I agree about the c-scoops looking wider and more muscular.

Time will tell, but this photo is revealing the profile quite a bit....almost seems like the camo
skin is less thick and allowing for more interpretation etc.......or then again, maybe its just this
bloody mary and wishful thinking

Hey Mike, I totally agree about the rear being more angled forward, thus giving the appearance of looking more like a full fastback, by making the trunk appear shorter than what it actually is.

In the meantime, I can't wait for the 2010 to be revealed at the L.A. Auto Show, this upcoming November

Can't make out the driver but the passenger is Doug Gaffka, Ford SVT chief designer

Largely agree.

I also agree with Mike, about the trunk looking shorter, due to the angle being moved more forward. Thus creating the illusion of looking more like a full fastback, without changing the greenhouse.

Noticed Something...

The 2010 rear valance makes a straight line run from the wheelwell to the exhaust tip...while the 05-09 has more of an L-shaped bend...
