2010 Dyno'd with Roush exhaust

Went to AzDynoChips to get me a baseline for the mods I will be doing.
I installed a Roush exhaust last weekend and it sounds really good.

I made 284whp & 294wtq

I should have Steeda Charge Motion Deletes, C&L Intake, SCT X3 and Eibach Pro-kit Springs coming as soon as I find someone that makes good tunes and has the C&L intake in stock.

What's the dyno results for a bone stock '10? How much did you gain w/ the exhaust?

Nice numbers, you'll easily break 300-315 at the wheels!

Bloodshot,

Was this with stock tune and 93 octane gas?

That's not apples to apples... if you put a tune on the '10, you'd easily gain 10-20rwhp... He basically got your numbers without a tune.

Agreed, a tune aids alot. I'm still on stock exhaust/muffler.
His numbers are good, with stock tuning and induction. The stock pipes aren't bad, his gains are great so far.

I have seen intakes and tunes only coming up around 14whp/14wtq for the 2010's. This is why I wanted a baseline to post some real world gains of a intake and tune. But with the intakes somewhat unavailable I might have to try a few other parts first.
The Steeda UDP's are looking good. They dyno'd exactly the same as I did stock and got 10whp for the UDP, be worth seeing what I get from them.

I think with the 2010's vs the 05-09's it is an apple to apple comparison when modding, IMO the only advantage is instock form the 2010 has is with a better tune and intake.

Keith at AZ Dyno Chip does great work--don't waste your time with a mail-order tune when you've got someone that good at close access!

He tuned my car to pull 23 more hp than a mail tune I had previously, as well as beating out another shop's dyno tune by 12hp.

PS--Ask him what he thinks about the CMDPs and see if you still want to buy them afterwards.

Yeah Keith is a cool guy, I have been getting dyno'd there for years. I have been thinking about the tunes lately and definitely leaning more toward that way. I was planning on getting a SCT X3 from the net and just have Keith clean it up, but I'm not sure if the tuners lock/protect the tune so other tuners can't mess with it. So I wonder if he would have to start a whole new tune?

He's actually about an hour from me, just happen to stop by after going to Ikea and no one was on the dyno so I jumped on it. But I definitely will have it dyno tuned by him.

I was the first 2010 on the dyno there and he did take my strategy code so I think I will be calling him to get this done.

He can unlock the SCT and work on the existing tunes. Worst case scenario, he'll download SCT's base tune file from their database and work it from there.

You must be on the West Side of the Valley. I'm in Chandler. Ever hit Scottsdale Pavillions shows?

Far west, I'm in Surprise. I have went out there the past 2 weekends with the family, but we park way out of the way.

I really want to try one of the mail order tunes just to give my review of it and definately have Keith tune it after.
