I like the back more than the front but I will definatly need to see this in person or at least uncamo'ed, unaltered photos.

It don't matter. You look at the front and let the people you race see the rear. I kindof wish I would have waited and bought me a 2010 and not bought my 2008. O well my wife might not like it but I might just trade mine in and get one. WooHoo!

Looks like a nice refresh. I can see the general shape changes, but we'll have to wait to see the finished product to see the impact of all the little details together. But so far it looks pretty good. Also, changes under the skin, (engine, suspension, etc) will figure into the equation.

The only thing I have wanted since 2005 is a bigger displacement engine option in the GT model. Looky, Oh boy, the car looks smaller and the faster looking running horse in the grill really impress the hell out of me. The FORD marketing department has really hit a home run with this one......NOT. I see no reason to replace my 2005 with a 2010 model.

Have they got enough lights on the front of that thing? Oh well, with the holidays coming up, if they release it in Highland Green it can always double as a Christmas tree...

Looks pretty good. I like it more now that I've seen a frontal view (as opposed to the rear-end pics from yesterday). The hips certainly look more pronounced. Overall the car doesn't appear to be as big of a departure from the current S197 as I had thought (and feared). Still, I see no reason why not to wait for the 2011 5.0.

Yeah future powerplants aside....

I am going by gut reaction and I know I haven't seen it in full production trim with regular paint, etc....

But it just didn't grab me the way the silver with white stripe S197 did when i first saw it back in 03/04 in the auto show pics

they really added a ton of reflectors. four in the grill and it looks like theres another outside of the main headlight? not sure about that. Im starting to like the tailights and I HOPE that hip looks better on the finished product. I was hoping the hip would be more pronounced. I like the front fascia but it almost looks to busy. anyway, to early to judge.. ill wait for my grabber blue boss....

Pretty cool if you ask me.

We just need to confirm some powerplant info.

Looks pretty nice to me. Nice to see Ford get rid of the goofy looking spoilers finally. (I know Im in the minority on this and have one one my stang as well) No fake scoops finally unlike the fake mail slot in the SS Maro. I think Ford is on the right track. If they would just push the 5.0/3.7 up now this thing would be a hit. Otherwise, its just a minor deal to me.

Somebody on Blue oval news claimed he saw one with the hood up and said it had a 3.7 in it and said it sounded good for a v6. I have no idea if this is true or not.

Looks like another home run for Mustang. Love the hips and front end. Perfect evolution of the S197.

Yeah same here. Its definitely a nice refresh, a step forward indeed and I'm sure it will tide over very well, but as it stands now, I will continue to enjoy (and pay off) my S197 . I was holding out on getting FI to see how the new one looks.

This change is like the 98-99 change, i'm sure when the 99 was released people said it just doesn't hit me like the 1994 change. Of course not, this is just a facelift.

edit, removed not.

The '99 had 35 more hp too. Hopefully this one does as well.
