Good call on that, Sarge. I hope you'll keep us posted as the years go by.

That lightning blue paint is amazing, by the way!!

Thats great. I wanted to do mine before winter but got surprised with early snow and the shop said they needed the car for 4-5 days since they have to de-ice the car and clean the underbody + dry it before doing anything but I needed my car for work. Next winter the coat is definitely going on er.

Hopefully they didn't cover up any existing drain holes that are built into the car. I don't know the specifics on the S550 especially, but as an example, there's drain holes at the bottom of the doors on S197 cars that some guys talked about trying to fill in a while back, which would lead to water not draining and instead rusting out the door from the inside.

Today's forecast, some light snow, but an inch of road salt.

I know the feeling. It was still +50 degrees here yesterday afternoon and they started started dumping the liquid ice melter just because it was supposed to drop below freezing over night, even with no moisture forecast. My car was solid white by the time I arrived home from work. I am glad it was my commuter and not my Mustang.

Sadly our little southern town has started using this chit. Nasty stuff.

Yea, and it's cold here, can't really wash the car, plus we may be getting one more snowstorm Tuesday, can't wait. Anyway, I got a new 35mm lens, so took some more pics today.

Thanks. It's in my sig, Steeda Sports and Koni Yellows. It's a decent drop to get rid of the gap. I use the car as a daily, otherwise I would like to go even lower.

Anyway, planning on getting new wheels this spring to change the look. I just finish paying off my car 2 months ago, so planning to get some mods this spring to summer. Thinking about going with the RTR Tech 7 19s, or maybe the newer Tech 5's. It's hard choosing new wheels, and then, should I go staggered or not, just for looks, lol.

I understand my friend. It was in the low 70's here the last couple weeks. Now, snow yesterday, and 40's today. And I had plans to work on the '06 today. Not going to happen, no heat in the garage.

yep that's right Gabe - buckle up. Tuck your babies (cars, that is) in tight. You are going to get what we just got. We got 7" dumped on to us in a few hours. Some areas north of us got upwards of 10" or more. Luckily, it is halfway melted by now due to warmer temps and the sun....

I'm not even home. Fiancee and I are down in North Carolina, heading back in a couple days. We have a friend of hers going by the house a couple times a day to feed the cats. Feel terrible for him that he has to deal with the 2"+ of snow that I'm now seeing in other forecasts as possible ...
