Do I wish people would be nicer to each other?
Absolutely
Do I want to be in a place where you're nice or else?
No
I also don't want to participate in a forum where all we do is stroke each other.
It's a good looking ride because its Mustang, but you're not gonna make me like what's fake about it.

Mr V. gets it, as does wheelman.
PolarisTX - love that LS! Enjoy that sunny weather. We've been freezin our tails off and shoveling a bunch of white stuff lately. Can't wait for springtime to get here so we can take off the covers, dump in some fresh premium, and make up for lost time out on the streets!

Look, the guy can do anything he wants to with his car. He can put nascar stickers all over it and call it a Sprint Cup car if he wants to and no one is going to take the car away from him. We get that.
But what Gary says here, and what sticks in my craw, is what bugs me about this whole thing: I have a Shelby. Gary has a Shelby. A lot of guys on here have a Shelby. 302's car is not a GT500. The only logical, sane reason he has made the car look the way it does is so that he can pass it off as a GT500; no one goes to the lengths to which he has gone without the intent of making people believe he's driving something he's not. If he was doing it "for laughs," he'd have made it clear with the badging that it is absolutely not a GT500. That's not what's been done.
I find it both absurdly laughable and disappointing that there are those who will defend this individual's lies and encourage them. No one likes liars, in any walk of life, professionally, personally or otherwise. Bosses fire liars. Employees quit on liars. Spouses divorce liars....but we're told that we can't object to the deception because "it's not being nice?" Why the hell should I be nice to the guy? He's lying--I don't care why he's lying, because it doesn't matter. Frankly, I hope he gets hammered enough about this nonsense that he puts a stop to it.
People who have dissenting opinions have just as much right--on this board, in this country--to express their feelings on such issues. When you do what the individual in question has done, you are going to catch hell for it, and rightly so. Sometimes the right thing to do is to be less than nice.
Now let's drop this in this thread and get back to more pictures of auto-****.
Absolutely, Gary.
