With the exception of the drive home that night I haven't had much time with it yet because the weather got crappy and work is busy.

But during that drive it definitely felt better. It was less notchy, but the biggest thing was that 2nd and 3rd gears were more predictable. They were right where they should be when I reached for them, no matter what RPMs I was shifting at.

Was hoping to get more time with it this weekend but it sounds like I am rolling out of state with my dad to look at a Shelby GT he has his eye on.

Edit: No other transmission changes yet. A new clutch is on the menu eventually.

I had the Blowfish racing bracket in my v6 car. Caused such horrible shift **** rattle and rattle in the shifter that I yanked it out. Left the drive shaft loop in for that added benefit but I couldn't take the rattle any longer. I tried adjusting it up and down but nothing helped. Took it out and all was smooth again. I read reviews where people love it. It just didn't work for me I guess.

The new one has rubber NVH isolators instead of the old static mount. I have zero noise from mine, but do have engine vibrations... But a direct-mount shifter SHOULD move with the engine.

I have the MGW and I didn't notice much of a throw reduction at all. That was a disappointment

I agree that it should move with the engine. I had the v6 version which came with the rubber isolators. The rattle was horrible from the shift **** that it was heard over my exhaust and that is loud (roush axlebacks). I have the Barton short throw shifter now and I am pleased. I haven't had gear lockout which could be attributed to many things. Ford rebuilt transmission, Spec clutch and alum. Flywheel, short shifter. I can't pin point what may have helped. Now if only I can stop spinning these 305 Mickey Thompsons... I feel there is no grip in these compared to the INVO tires. Even with traction control on, the car spins going from first to second. If I had a GT I would be scared haha. The tire guy put 35 PSI in them, I am thinking I should lower them to about 28 to 30. Any suggestions?

I also have 305 MT's on mine with the same problem. They need to be warmed up for grip. I have been running my nitto's for the past while and they are a much better tire for off season/cooler temps. My Mickey's go back on today. I've found them to be fine AFTER they are warmed up. The MT's are a summer only tire. (i believe)

Well at 70-80 degrees, I still have the problem. What pressure are you using on them?

IMO, 35 sounds way too high. I'd at least take 'em down to 30

I am running my 19" MT tires at 32 psi with good grip. ( temps above 70° or so.)

Looks way better. The factory spoiler seems wimpy looking. I installed a GT500 spoiler on my 'vert, and it and your CS spoiler make our cars look much more aggressive.
