2010-2014 Ford Mustang S-197 Gen II Lets see your latest Pics PHOTO GALLERY
Saleens in general are very expensive. The one my dad wanted (Well, before he saw the price) was around 70-80K. Which is just absolutely insane considering he didn't have many options.
Saleen does their own custom paint, to do this they actually strip the car down and repaint it. So they charge a lot for their paint. That's probably why this specific car is so ridiculously expensive.
But 138K, no thanks! I have a few other cars in mind for that price. It's a shame because they have good looking cars, but are way to much for what they are.

Last season there were 2 saleens that were regularly position near me in the shows because of the convertible custom s197 category. Seeing them in person, they are spectacular
But nowhere near the price tag worthy. That being said, body work and custom paint is a huge expense, so adding another 10-20k on sticker just for body mods makes sense. I have no clue what goes into drivetrain/susp on saleens.

Vegas OMG, that looks identical to my dad's old 2012 5.0. Looks great!

I'll keep my eye out when show/cruise season starts up again.
God bless him, but neither the Saleen nor the custom paint is my cup of engine oil. For what he put into those I'd get a new GT350 and still keep my convertible with some gas money left over.

Agreed...I do like the paint, but it just looks extremely gaudy. Still, to say you have two matching Saleens is pretty cool.
And its like lint or something from the cover...or dust that settled when I pulled up the cover. I'd just been over her top to bottom with the spray detailer before the cover went on.
That car looks ballsy as ****. Awesome with the chrome wheels. I bet the car looks killer in the sunlight.
