Cool. I was on an LHD this past winter on deployment, it's like a smaller version of an aircraft carrier and only carries helicopters and harriers. Anyway, the nonskid on the flight deck was so rough it would tear up the aircraft tires and your skin. I guess since its a museum now it doesnt have to be rough anymore.

It was a great time! They usually have it on Mustang Island but they wanted to do something special for the 50th. He has no plans on doing it again as far as I know
