2010-2014 Ford Mustang S-197 Gen II Lets see your latest Pics PHOTO GALLERY
I installed my DSS driveshaft last night. The rear bolts were a pain in the butt to take off. They just didn't want to come out. I also had to partially remove my Blowfish Racing shifter bracket to gain access to the front driveshaft bolts. Now the stock drive shaft is a heavy ugly POS. Lol. Was a lot more difficult to maneuver around. While the stang was on jacks I took a pic of my Whiteline watts link.
Mmm watts link!
From a show yesterday sponsored by a local chapter of The Natural Glass Corvette Association. Very professional and well organized club. The quality of the cars in all groups was outstading. I was lucky enough to win an unexpected, but not unwelcome, 1st Place award in the 2011-2015 Class.

One day I'll have an award winner. Not yet though. I'm working on it! Quad tip valance is on and the catback is going on tomorrow after work! iOS 8 and the Internet Brands app are broken though. I can't post pics again.
Hey I forgot to say congrats on the award btw! I was too busy yankin' your chain (or lack thereof)

Thanks Patrick. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your progress. You still doing the P51 theme?
That's what I'm planning. I've got some more crazy ideas to go with it. It's going to be the little touches. Hopefully I'll eventually have time to hit up a show. There's not many around here, other than Good Guys and that show season is done.
Very close to where the show was held yesterday, is an airport that occassionally dispays vintage WWII aircraft and you can take rides in some of the bombers.
At the exact same time my car was being inspected by a second set of judges, there was a deep, ominous rumble in the sky, and lo and behold, a silver B17 was flying very low overhead right above the car show.
I'd like to think that my late father's spirit was in that plane, and he gave my judges a little nudge!!!!
A Mustang Mustang oughta be fun. The P51 is my favorite fighter plane of all time. Our Mustangs were named appropriately. Your dad was a B-17 operator?? That's so cool!
Awesome! Did you see my pics a few months ago? We had a B-17, B-25, B-24 and a couple P-51s at our local airport. Awesome machinery. The P-51 is also my favorite fighter. I learned recently that Ford actually built a few of the Rolls V12s that were in those planes. They were also supercharged too, so I think it's only right that I honor that detail

I missed seeing those WWII aircraft pics. Would you mind emailing them to me? Any P-38 Lightnings? Awesome aircraft...never seen one up close.
My Dad was a radio-gunner on a B-17 with the 8th Air Force in England. He flew 27 missions from Jan 44-May 44 over France and Germany, with a number of missions to Berlin. The name of his plane was KA-LAANG...that was the sound the shrapnel made as it entered the plane from ak ak fire. Naturally my favorite airplane of any type is the Flying Fortress. He called the P-51 escort planes "my little friends".
He also was the radio operator on an unarmed B-24 observation plane over the English Channel on June 6, 1944. It's an interesting story, too long to post here.
Send me pics of the WWII planes if you can, or direct me to the link. I'd love to see them.
Wow...you're going to put a supercharged Rolls V12 in your Mustang? You trying to outdo J Simmons? LOL I missed seeing those WWII aircraft pics. Would you mind emailing them to me? Awesome!!! I have them on my computer. I'll email them tonight. Ah man, now you're really going to make me go through my pics...a few years ago I went to an air show with my dad/buddy down in Chino. They had three P-38s, which was the first time more than two were flying together since WWII, one of which was Glacier Girl! I'll have to dig those out. They're on my external hard drive.
Well?
