Time to contact these bastards once again, to try to get another one of these plastic pieces sent out. Don't even need the rest of the kit, just the plastic piece that's gonna be visible once installed

Nice to open up the box and see the plastic piece has been rubbing against a metal bracket the whole time:

And it's now scratched worse than the first one I received:

wow.

Might be at Roush, might be at LMR.

Jay @ LMR has been very nice and just left me a message, they're gonna try to have one shipped directly to me from Roush, see if that's better.

Anyway, the original problem not there anymore (stuff being packed together), parts are still showing up damaged.

Jay's idea is to contact Roush also and let them know of the packaging issue ... see if they can save headaches to future buyers.

DUDE!! what the h***! who are you dealing with? Enough is enough i'd say. They better be paying for the shipping charges AND providing you with some credit! SO BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE!

and it better be expedited and shipped properly. ask for a pic of the packing before they send it, to be sure. UNREAL

Sounds like you and I have had a bad day. You'll see my other thread that I'm not a happy camper today either.

I keep thinking the companies you and I are currently dealing are secretly working for ANOTHER big name company

The first grille kit got shipped back using a label they e-mailed me, so I'm good there.

Like I said above, Jay is working with me, he's been very nice and apologetic ... I'm not gonna hold this against them, other than it seems that somebody is opening these kits up and re-packaging them for some reason, and when they do that, they just throw everything in there and don't car if metal parts are leaning against the ONLY piece that will be visible, the plastic piece that ends up getting scratched to ****

Not willing to dip or paint.
And believe it or not, I have no black plasti-dip right now, lol

Yeah I'm really starting to think that it might be a Roush issue with the packing too ... we'll see what the 3rd one looks like

10 cents worth of bubble wrap could have saved EVERYONE a lot of time, headaches and shipping!

Just talked with Jay at LMR, they're having Roush ship me a plastic piece directly, so hopefully it will show up unharmed and i can move on ...

i wish i had pics of how the oem gt500 grills were packaged and sent to me. They were packaged separately and surrounded with stuffing. My siebon CF grills were packaged INSANELY, also separately. tons of bubble wrap and packing tape. there's no reason for your pain unless someone is trying to save money on shipping.

This was a couple weeks ago. Pardon the bugs. They're bound to happen on a two hour evening drive on a river bottom highway.
