That's the hope. The 275/40/18 Continental DWS's, while only 10mm narrower, were plowing into turns like crazy ... on the short traffic-packed ride home today I didn't get to do much "testing" but I got a few hints that the cornering ability just went up a BUNCH

Not happy to see that Late Model Restoration apparently thought I'd be OK with my new $600 throttle body being thrown in with my new $300 Roush grille, basically having them take the TB out of its packaging (that I would've liked to have), then open up the Roush box, and having the re-tape be one of the sh!tt!est re-tape jobs I've ever seen, the Roush box showing up all mangled on my door step ... WTF ????

Spend thousands of dollars with a company and then this ???

As long as the items are not damaged, you have no right to complain. At least thats what they'll tell you. Think about, those boxes get shipped and handled by many different people along their journey which in many cases is a boisterous one.

No damage, no problem. Enjoy the new parts and post some pics when they are installed

The plastic part of the grille delete kit is scratched.
I believe having that throttle body in the box applied extra pressure on the insides and made that plastic piece rub against something else in the box, and got scratched

I'll try to take a pic

The scratched plastic lower piece:

The kit includes this piece of black tape that needs to be applied somewhere, this arrived kinked badly in 1-2 places:

Can also see above how mangled that box arrived. That box wasn't meant to handle the added weight of the throttle body. It gave in with that lopsided weight inside ... I can only imagine the bouncing around the TB took inside the huge box that wasn't meant for it

seems like a lot of companies are failing at shipping things properly these days to pinch pennies. Cutting costs by shipping things improperly then blaming the shipping company.

it was DUMB to throw the TB in there like that. Just dumb. LTR is a fine company but someone messed up in the shipping dept.

send it back and go SIEBON CARBON FIBER for the win! They shipped their stuff beautifully. Took me 15 minutes to unwrap the bubble wrap, the tape, the styro sheets etc etc LOL

Oh hell no...

You sure you didn't order from AM? Lol.

Yeah call them back and let them know what's up. I'm are they'll send you a new piece. I wouldn't accept the scratches on that black piece.

Bored tonight. So I detailed her, then using tape and some plastidip, made a protective face/cover for my valence in case of possible scratching or from chips. Darren got me all phobic about possibly scratching my valence.

Pardon the dark pics, but it was 10:30 tonight. But from afar or up close you can't see it. That's the idea.

I was choosing between that and the nt555rs. I chose the 555 for a tad more tread life. Let me know how those work out. I might switch once I go through these

Just installed the new Ford Racing twin-65mm throttle body, running it for now off the twin-60 JDM tune, which they say is OK to do.
However, I can't push it much until I get a new tune for the new VMP fuel pump voltage booster

First start-up:

Was a little surprised to see this oil in the elbow ... guess I really need to think about a dual-catch-can set-up.

^ Gabe.... looks awesome. I'm still rockin' the stock TB. What size is it, 80 or 85? I forget.

As far as the oil puddle, that's on the DRIVER'S SIDE? hmmmm... I tell you what though, I pulled off my driver side PCV hose a number of times, and looked in there, and looked in the driver side PCV, and it's bone dry. I wonder if it's vehicle dependent. Hmmmmm...

Pretty sure the stock TB is 85mm.

I guess the oil "production" is dependent of how hard the car is driven.
Guess that Prius in the household is affecting your right foot.

Park further away from it, LMAO ...

And yeah, that's the driver side.
I really wish I had twin catch cans on this car, and now thinking about the GF's GT500 as well, she needs 2 also.

So I need a vendor to cut me a smokin' deal on 2 twin set-ups ...

Or time to try removing the PCV system and getting the setup from Rehagen. http://rehagenracingproducts.com/RAC...610-M50BRA.htm or piece one together.
