Thanks!

No real interesting story behind my username. Just a nickname I picked up mountain bike racing several years ago. I'm tall and lanky and a friend of mine was watching me on a downhill section. He said my extended arms reminded him of the reigns on a horse drawn carriage. He said that in front of my teammates and the name stuck. Better to embrace than fight it.

I saw your car at cars and coffee and recognized it immediately. It looks extremely good! I should have spent more time looking at the mustangs rather than devoting all my time on the ferrari's and the Veyron.

Also your pics always look so bada**, makes my DIB pics look so bad.
to remove the splitter, you just need to put gentle pressure n it pull of though leaving the 3m tape peices on the headlight. i went back with heatgun n cleared the pieces and finally wipped it down with isopropylene. i just have a basic dslr camera thats all u need to take those pics. buy one n u will get better than mine.

But now that you said, yes, not only is it non-functional, but it's tacked on (and looks tacky), and impedes headlight brightness. Not really sure what its intended purpose is. Kindda like the tack-on hood scoop.... no thanks.
burton: no offense buddy... i just tried that look n thought it would look good.. but looks like i m wrong..

I actually thought his car was one of the only ones I've ever seen that looked okay with them. The '13-'14 front end, with all its horizontal lines, lends itself to looking decent with the splitters. But still, I think it looks cleaner without them with the LED running light in the headlights already being present.
