2010-2014 Ford Mustang S-197 Gen II Lets see your latest Pics PHOTO GALLERY
So if we cut the power in half, would it be any different? No, not at all. I must be the only one that doesn't beat the **** out of my Mustang at every opportunity.
Ford mustang + snow= no go lots of tire spin. you are going to have to load up the truck with lots of weight. I would rather get a beater car that way if some retards crashes into you no big deal.
---------------------------
+1 Short wheelbase, too. Stuff happens fast when the rear end decides to pass the front.
---------------------------
The mustang is WAY too squirrely in the winter time. Even with sand in the back and good tires you are still going to be whipping all over the place
----------------------------
We used to have fun counting the number of mustangs in the ditch around here. Now, people just put them away for the winter.
--------------------------
Mustangs have never been good in the snow, complete lack of traction on any surface that is not 100% dry
---------------------------
They are a nightmare in the snow. As Steve said, most people put them away in winter. When I sold cars we made the rookies attempt to move them when we had heavy snow.
--------------------------
Like everyone else said Mustangs are traction limited even on dry pavement. Lots of people drive them around here and we get some bad snow. You just have to be extra careful and carry a shovel, sand and some towstraps with you at all times
--------------------------
You just need to get used to railing it, I always had fun with it.
If you don't be careful it will put you in a ditch quick, but I would rather have it.
Just my opinion.

I guess I'm different having grown up in Wisconsin with REAL snow, and multiple RWD cars.
I just don't see the modern mustang as even being *close* to being a bad car in the snow.
It's a simple argument that people will state that any car that is rear drive and isn't a truck or a front wheel drive car is bad in the snow.
any car with bald tread or little tread left is going to be a bad car in the snow.
the worst car I've ever had in the snow? my Grand Prix GTP. the reason? bald/summer tires.
The second worst? My GTO when it had summer tires.
it's all about tires guys, not about how the Mustang and every rear drive vehicle is inherently **** in the show. Put on proper tires.
and since this is about latest pics. Here's some from while trekking through the snow in the Rockies over New Years.
DAT FILTH. Click on pics to see full-size.

Nighthawk, after swapping the wheels/tires to something w/ snows or all-seasons, I would indeed.

My first car was a Mustang coupe w/ a 302. I drove it year round; in snow & ice. I learned how to drive in those conditions and learned the hard way that it's all about the correct tire choice & driving skill. Of course, that was before ABS, traction control, cell phones & the like.
Heck, 662 bhp couldn't get my car out of our driveway w/ summer tires.

Would you drive an expensive car such as a Ferrari or a ford gt in the winter then? You apparently would with the correct tires.
I'm not one to really talk because I rarely drive mine at all and I'm in great weather year around.

I guess we have Mustang proud owners and Mustang abusers too. Probably leasing
