A bit.... I bought them pre-modified off craigslist. The guy I bought them from just shaved the back of the heat sink for the bulbs, cut off one mounting bracket, and bought a wiring harness. I shortened the harness and installed the lights the right way, which took some really really long deck screws to get the correct angle.
It leaves a bit of a gap but it looks great!
