that works out great

I saw your differential oil, now you make me wonder what mine looks like (I don't have the torsen). I'll have to talk to my mechanic friend (who is also a ford mechanic, the guy who works on my car, plus he restores all sorts of older & newer mustangs) and see what he thinks... I leave my car in his hands completely.

Well, what got me thinking of changing out the rear diff fluid was seeing the metal shavings that came out of the rear diff of an '06 Charger SRT8 with about 8k miles on it, a car that uses a regular open diff and is owned by Brian, the owner of BND Auto, the company that makes these custom-blended oils ...

My tech today agreed that all the wear happens at low mileage so changing out the fluid early in the diff's life is a good idea.

Brian's oil:

(the gray stuff is metal shavings)

THere are more pics in the "Exterior Mods" Section..
since this pic I have trimmed down the CF under the light so its not so angled. Follows the light curvature more now.

I just did the tails...the bumper would require painting of the side skirts for it to look right IMHO. PLUS, Im not a fan of the 2013 license plate area..especially on light colored cars such as white!
Awesome! I always think your car can't look any better, and you prove me wrong.

Thumbs up

I finally managed to get a few pics after hibernation and take it out for a drive today. This was the first drive after picking it up in December. Roads were clean so managed to put on about 50 miles. Weather looks good again tomorrow so I can hopefully get out again.

Here is picture I took today while I was on the way back from visiting my childhood home in Bamberg, Germany. I used to live there in 1987. It was pretty weird standing in front of the building I lived in as a kid. I used 1/4 tank of fuel to get there on some of the back roads and 1/2 tank getting back on the autobahn.
