Oh dude, np... anytime. Yes, I am one of those guys along with Steve (m4a1mustang) and Dan (secondhandloser) that have been receiving the brunt of mockery etc from our former Z brethren. I should tell you my story sometime. But I won't derail this thread further. Put it this way, after a 20 minute test drive of a 2012 5.0, I signed the papers to my Z. Just like that. Yes, it was THAT good. The 5.0 is better built, esp from the tranny and engine standpoint. Period.

Too bulbous, too busy, too many horizontal lines, etc. The new GT, Boss 302, and GT/CS front end just looks like it sticks out too far and doesn't have the graceful, sleek lines of the '10 through '12 model. The bottom corners look like part of a bad aftermarket body kit (looks like they added the horizontal lines to mimic the cheesy headlight splitters that few people like).
I didn't like the GT front end on the '05 through '09 either, and I swapped in the V6 Pony Pkg grill into my '07 GT to "fix" it. The '10 through '12 front end is absolutely perfect, with the '13 getting a better looking tail.

Also, those wheels are horrible.

I have a cs ordered and I'll be the first to admit the wheels are horrible but.... Also easily replaceable. The rest of the cs package is what brought me to order my third cs. My 2012 is being repurchased by ford and although I had the option of another 12 I couldn't take advantage of current rebates So i decided to move up a model year. I agree that the 10-12 is a good looking car but when it first arrived most whined and complained about it as well. For me there are enough new features and cosmetic changes to make moving to a 13 my best option. For my 12 I added the boss splitter and the gt500 splash shields. (mods that many of us have done) now they both come standard. Many people wanted their 05-12 to look like the Shelby, now they have done that and poeple don't seem to like it. They painted the rockers for 13 like the 05-09 had, now no one likes that..? I remember when the 10 launched no one liked the plastic molding.. Lol point being is that two things play into someone liking or disliking something new or different, one you don't want to admit you like something because you won't be getting one, or your just not one for change. If you don't like what they did to the car for 13 don't buy one! If you love the 05-09 style there are cars a plenty for ya! If the 10-12 is your favorite s197 body style then go that route. We are all here because of the love we share for the mustang. I personally would never own a v-6 coupe but I'm happy for those that have made that car their dream. I know I just ran at the mouth here for a minute but I wanted to voice my opinion on what others have to say anytime something is changed or altered in these cars.
