1/4 Mile time estimation?

I have a 13 Mustang GT with a Vortech, CAI, and Cat Back. Having spinning problems at the track.
1/8-1/4 takes me 4.0-4.1
Trap speed is 123-125
Can anyone speculate on what my 1/4 mile time should be if I ever get a good pass out of it. I understand it's just a ballpark estimate.

I would say low 11's at that MPH. Probably 11.20-11.30 ish. Has your car been dyno-tuned and how aggressive is your tune/how much boost? If you are running relatively conservative you'll stay in the 11's. You'll need something more aggressively tuned to get into the 10's.

Without tires I would say 11.5 to 11.6.

125 trap is because you're spinning. If you hook it will be a little less. Guessing somewhere around 12.0's on a good pass.
Slicks 11.5

I'm running 12.5 spinning

I'm running MT 305 drag radials, rained last time I was at track and they dried it, but I don't think it was good enough.

Let me give you an estimate based on your 1/8th to 1/4 split time. I don't have a SC, but I have an 11.69 run where my 1/8th to 1/4 split time was a 4.20. Now your split times won't be affected that much by spinning. Maybe a few hundredths, but nothing too extreme. So assuming you have a 4.0 split time, that drops .2 off my time to an 11.49. Secondly, my 60 ft on that run was a 1.66. Since you have a SC, you should be able to get into the 1.4's. So let's assume a conserative .15 improvement on your 60 ft. My experience with these cars is that your 60 ft is pretty close to a 1 to 1 relationship with your 1/4 mile times. So assuming a .15 improvement on the 11.49, that takes you down to roughly a 11.34.

Again, this assumes being able to dead hook your car with at least MT ET street tires, but if you could, I think a conservative estimate is easily in the low 11.30's.

It's an email tune from BBR, with CAI it should be just shy of 8lbs. It's a pretty conservative tune. I'm not gonna launch it very hard until I get a new drive shaft

That was my exact estimate based on 1/8 * 1.55 = 1/4 (supposedly)
7.3 * .55 = 4.015
7.3 + 4.015 = 11.3
Thanks for you input, I can live with those #'s I don't really go to the track much anyway.

Like I said. 12.0-11.5 will probably be the best you will see until you really spend a lot of seat time at the track. You may be able to beat 11.5 but it will require some perfect driving and it won't do that on the street. You can tell people that you have an 11 second car but you really don't until someone makes an 11second pass with it. We've got 9 second 5.0's around here that have time slips to prove that. There are 10 second cars around here with less hp than you but better setups. Just saying my 11.5 estimate was generous.

I don't claim to have an 11 second car and have burned my timeslips. Drag racing is pretty irrelevant in my life, but I enjoy my car. Was just curious what to expect.

With drag radials and 8lbs of boost and a good launch I bet 11.3's. Guys running 10psi are getting into the 10's, some in mid 10's with suspension.
