Going On Memory and I Could Have it Mixed Up The Earlier Pads Had The Embossed Ponys and By 07 I Think They Were Gone. Changes For Hood Scoop, Strut Brace & Bullitt Cold Air Could Have Also Come into Play Over The Pads Evolution!

Due To Size Of Item I Never Tried To Sell Any of The Pads As Shipping Charges and Not The Best Packaging Also Came Into Play!

KC, your memory is great. This free hood liner was a replacement to my original one which I replaced a few yrs back. This one became spare when I had a new hood liner with some airbrushed art done recently...as you can see in the pic below...with a "best of show" trophy I won this summer.....yes, I am showing off a bit....

Funny This One Shows The Embossed Ponys. Could Have Simply Come & Gone as Oem Part Number Changed Many Times over The Years! I Know There Was Someting Different on My 05 Gt Vs My GT/CS With The Pony. I Think it Was Actual Location of Pony. Anyhoo Kinda Funny How The Pad Shows For 06-09 and Covers Bullit Etc. Im Sure it Would Work on an 05 But Someting Was a Bit Different! Really Hard To Believe With All The Obsolete Parts on The Gen 1 S-197 They Still Have Hood Pads!

Anybody Taking Advantage of This FREE Part Ought To Buy a Nice Sit Down Lunch At The Very Least as This Is By No Means an Inexpensive Part. I Also See GT-500 is Still Listed. My C&L Intake Messed My Liner Up a Bit and Being Such an Oem Guy I May Have To Get One & Rathole.

But On The Other Hand I Still Have The Prototype KR Style Hood From Starcraft. They Sent Gratus For Me To Review Here on TMS! Aww I Miss The Perks! Came With Ram Air Kit as Well! Aye Carumba! Choices Choices! I Even Have 68 GT/CS Hood Pins I Was Going To Adapt!

Unfortunately, I'm located in the Pittsburgh, PA region, otherwise, If I lived closer to northern Virgina, I would most definitely be very interested in your OEM hood liner...

 

Part 7R3Z-16738-H is the part # of the airbrushed hood liner. Which is the same as the one I am parting out...I will hold on to the liner until someone takes it from my hands...I hate to just toss it in the trash...

 

So why don't you offer to ship it. It's not like you have to pay for the shipping? Just curious.

 

Because I do not want to spend time dealing with boxing and shipping--thus offering free for a local pick up.
