Saw the windveil blue in person today, it was at the Ford dealer on Sheppard Avenue East here in TO.. They had the upgrade rims which really really took away from the car ( I was hoping to see the bullitts with it) .. And this color confirmed my liking of it ..

Also liked how the colors change. It was bright outside then got really cloudy and dark in the matter of a few minutes. Some pretty color changes were taking place there right before my eyes.. I also noticed, this color is popular with the chicks LOL ... Not being married myself yet, this scores some points with me as I plan on picking up some hotties ( might as well use the car to your advantage if your gonna pay that much,) LOL !

I was fueding between getting WV blue or Yellow. I love them both but i decided to get the yellow just cause it stuck out (haha and i love it) Have any of you noticed not as much attention as you would have if your got a brighter color?? Just wondering. I love being in this exclusive club.

Has anyone put anything other than white stripes on a WVB yet? Would love to see some pics if they're out there!

My affection for WVB was diminished just a tiny bit this weekend when I saw an '05 Taurus station wagon in Windveil Blue.

Don't base your decision about the Windveil Blue color from only the one observation of seeing it on a Taurus. I looked at it on a Taurus also, back in June before they started buiding the Mustangs. The body lines on the Mustang are so much different from those of the Taurus. Believe you me, when you get a chance to see this color first hand on the Stang, you will be amazed how much nicer it looks. This color gives off multiple shades of blue, depending on if it is overcast or sunny. The morning Sun reflects a different color than the evening, or at any given time during the day. Just walking from the front to the rear of the car can change the color from a deep blue to an ice blue. This color is amazing.
Attached are photos taken, both morning and late afternoon Sun, walking from front to rear. Notice how distinct the color changes occur while walking alongside.

I guess I'm just the opposite. I saw it on a Taurus and loved it. I figured if it looks good on a Taurus it'll look great on a Mustang. I ordered it without seeing it on a Mustang and my thoughts were confirmed when I finally saw one at the innovation drive back in November. I just wish it hurry up and get here(stupid dealer).

You don't want the WVB any of you. It is terrible to look at reminds me of a secretaries color, nope definitly not, anything but blue on the other hand it's a sleeper color. People wouldn't think it looks tough.......... the fewer WVB's on the road the better for those of us with them.
It is a great color and sun catcher...looks different in different light.a real magnet. I wouldn't have it any other color.

The person who said his opinion of the windveil blue has diminished because he saw one on a taurus :

Last time I checked ( not that I check taurus's out, LOL) , black, red, white and all the other major colors are on taurus's as well.. So, who cares about the taurus and what colors they come in ???

I just don't get your reference

Last night at summit ford I saw a windveil blue with wider and bigger tires.. Also had the blackout spoiler, rear taillights and a black hood ( all flat black, not gloss) .. My goodness gracious that color popped out BIGTIME under the lights..

The windveil was next to a torch red and next to a mineral gray and satin silver .. My eyes could only focus on the windveil blue ( it was at night under the lot lights), the other mustangs in other colors looked pale in comparison.. I consciously tried to look at the other mustangs and colors next to it, but my eyes uncontrollably always moved right back to the windveil blue, LOL .. This is just my opinion and what happened.. I think I was under some sort of spell ( from the Windveil Gods) . ROFL.

The color changes of the windveil while walking side to side and front to back ( at night under street lights) was simply magical IMO .. I was incredibly drawn to it.

Got a huge favor to ask....would it be possible for you to take some pictures of the WVB with the black spoiler, tail lights, and hood? I'm trying to decide what to do with mine when it gets here and this would really help me. Much appreciated!

It had a sold sticker on it. Won't be going back that way till Saturday.. If its there I will take some pics. IMO the car looks better without all that teenage sticker-wear..

Can anyone post a pic of leather charcoal interior with baby blue inserts ? I just ordered my windveil blue with charcoal interior and would like to see if baby blue inserts would look good .. I called a local guy here who my family knows and he said it would be no problem for him to do it. He has done great work before that I saw..

Thanks in advance.

Here is the notorious Ford Taurus in Windveil Blue.. My goodness gracious, how ugly is this. LOL

However, on the Mustang, it's the best color IMO..

I agree LedZep.. All those color changes in Jack's pictures are for real with the human eye (not camera gaffes).. In direct sunlight it looks one color, under a spotlight looks like a different color, with low sunlight looks another ( in other words, looks different at sunrise as compared to sunset even though the sun may be at the same degree angle) ..

I have been plodding different dealerships (even in odd night hours) scouring this color and inspecting it like a scientist. (yes, I had the long white coat on with a clipboard in hand,LOL) .. And I must say, this windveil blue is a thing of beauty . And many different colors of beauty during a 24 hour period.. This is why I ordered the WVB this morning changing from my initial pick of redfire and then Black ( there will be too many redfire's and black's on the roads IMO, these were my other 2 choices) ..

For those very few people who say this color may look too feminine, I say just wait till I put serious rims and tires on it, as well as a couple more subtle mods like a real tint job, and a mean sounding exhaust, then see what the common reaction from people while it is sitting next to your car .. And please, no one in their right mind can say the following picture is feminine..
