Windveil Blue

Thanks Mike, I waited 7+ weeks for her to come in and just love it. The color goes real well with the car. Once I took my wife to test drive the Mustang GT, she was hooked. We ordered one that night. She was a real trooper in ordering a color that she never saw in person. I had seen the color a few weeks before we ordered. So the next day we went to another dealer that had a WV Blue car on their lot and she loved it. Sorry for the long story but I am loving this car. I hope you guys get your cars soon, so you can feel the same way B)

I hear ya. I ordered my car sight unseen. I have seen it in a V6 since then and I think it is going to be a classy color. Also not as hard to keep clean. I was originally going to get Sonic but I have had a black GT and it was a pain to keep clean, so I ordered the WVB. Can't wait.

Windveil Blue is probably in a similar situation as legend lime. By that I mean that it is a less popular color, and thus there are not enough waiting to be scheduled to make a full day/week of it (however they do it). Just a thought. Though I don't remeber many people waiting for legend lime, but perhaps that simply further proves the point of lime's lack of popularity.

manystangs,
I guarantee you will happy with your choice of W/B. I have previously owned ten black Fords, and seven of the dark blues Ford has produced, and decided to go with the W/B this time around. The dark colors look real nice when they are clean, but as you say, they are in constant need of washing and waxing. Attached is a pic of my GT after I drove it a couple days in rain, and an inch of snow. It doesn't show the dirt like any of the other darker colors I have owned. You can see some dirt that was kicked up from the rear wheels, but other than that, don't look too bad.
Good luck with you getting yours, and as others have said, It will be worth the wait Indeed!

I went to a local dealer here in central Utah, Smith Auto, and they had a Redfire and a WVB. Up until this morning I was leaning towards the Redfire but after seeing the WVB in person it is simply georgeous! Too bad the WVB was a V6 and the Redfire GT was out of gas, so I drove the WVB and I am definately ordering this color next month! GT of course B)

Maybe they're out of paint because they're sending out touch-up paint and don't have any left! I received my little vial of touch-up this week. Windveil Blue is a stunning color! Everyone likes it, male and female! You'll be happy when you DO get the car.

yes Jax, I am sure you are enjoying it .. My goodness it is nice with the charcoal leather .. Dont like the light interior .
With that said, I am going to order a Mustang this week and want to make sure my decision is a good one.. At first, I fell in love with the redfire with red leather seats .. But my only concern is that I will get bored of all that red and wishing I got my 2nd favorite, the windveil blue ..
I had a 1991 300ZX back in the 90's and it was red .. Got bored of it fast .. I saw the Windveil blue at first at the 2004 Toronto auto show back 10 months ago .. And I still think about that car I saw way back in February to this day ..
I am thinking the Windveil is more vintage with a more staying power .. You agree ?
