Interesting, that you have the V6 Pony Package side stripes on your car, did you ask for them or did the dealer put them on? I really like the silver wheels, do you think you could post more pics of the side with the sun hitting the wheels and car? Any way great car and color choice, I hope you enjoy it!

There is a story behind the stripes and the wheels.

The car's window sticker indicated stock wheels. The dealer put on some $1,999 18" chrome wheels and $599 stripes. The salesman said that since the wheels were not on the invoice with the x-plan that he would remove the wheels but not the stripes. So I agreed. When I went to pick it up, it still had the $2k wheels on it. I told him no thanks, don't charge me for them. So while we went thru the F&I process, he was supposed to swap them out. Long story short, I could have driven home with the chrome wheels, since he didn't swap them out. I notified them, they were in a hurry, with no 06 wheels or cars around, they swapped on some brand new 07 wheels. The tires still had those little stalagtites on them. So its kinda unique, it looks like an 07 instead of an 06.

Here is one I took with the sun on the side of the car at the dealership. I hope to take some pictures in from of the Capital or a Stadium soon.

PS I removed the dealership sticker today.

Sweet car Reverend, I had those side stripes on my 06 V6 Pony Pkg. they are really nice. White/Vista is a common combo but I never get tired of it, can't waint till I get my new one.

Bad weather in NC last week.

Snow fell in central NC last week. Talk about Blue with white stripes. How about Blue with white snow!

Wow, did your wipers freeze to the windshield?
St. Louis is a great town, I was there in 05 for July 4th.

When you chip everything away you break them free by hand so you don't damage anything. If you bend the arms you get a spot that they do not work in, it always seams to be the spot right in front your main vision area. LOL.
The rubber does not freeze to the window but the snow and ice freeze around the arm locking it in place.

If you know it's going to snow.. just flip them up before it gets bad and freezes... then just take a scraper to the windshield and drop them down.. good to go.
