When I get my stang the first thing I will end up doing are the stripes but I can't decide which color or how thick but I think about 10in will be good.

I think white looks best with blue but a friend of mine brought up adding metallic stripes to it and now that seems like an interesting combination that will go with the wheels and all.

Does anyone have any pictures of VB with silver or white? I saw some low quality ones with Sonic Blue but they were in the sun and it looked purple so the silver didny't look good.

If your real serious about the LeMans Stripes I suggest you do the following.

1. Go with White 10" Stripes with a 2" gap.
2. Make sure they go they ENTIRE length of the car from the lower front facia to the lower rear facia.
3. PAINT them on the car. They look much better besides vinyl will yellow some on you over time.

If you do it right they will look fantastic!

Well I guess that is your opinion so time for mine.

10 3/4" with a 1" gap. Go with white. Vinyl will not yellow over time if you use 3M 2mil automotive grade vinyl. Just look at my car if you want to see what yours will look like.

Go for white, this combo is fast becoming a classic for the '05. Just look at John's (adrenalin) car!

I wish that is what mine would look like. Maybe I'll see if I can get that shaker hood for xmas? Parents + Aunts/uncles combined, you never know the possibilities

Hey Jeff, I have a Vista Blue GT on order (see my sig ), and once it arrives, it's off to the body shop my to get 2 10" white Shelby Stripes painted on. I am (most likely) going with a 2" gap, to make it look like a '67 GT350. VB with white sttripes will look AWESOME, I can't wait.

Voted for white. Everytime I see an blue 05+ with stripes I really want to put them on mine but the lack of body shops around me makes me worry about quality. I really want to do it but keep getting held back. Also I don't want to get rid of my pony tape so do you guys think the stripes would be over kill or make it look rice?

I've really liked the VBs I've seen with the white stripes. I hope to be able to do that. Not sure about the wide stripes with the pony tape, tape on the rockers, though. Maybe you could try and match the pattern with painted stripes.

Today is supposedly my build day. I'm pacing with cigars, here.
