I like the white stripes on mine but i think silver stripes would ROCK. If i ever decide to have them painted, i may go over to silver.

 

Thanks everyone for the pics, stripes definitely add a new look to the stangs! I think I'm going to go with White stripes. Went around and priced some painted stripes most were around $600 for stripes just painted on and clearcoated just on the stripes, and around $1000 for painted stripes plus clearcoated over entire panel so you don't feel the stripes. Do those numbers sound reasonable?

 

$1000 is cheap Chris if it's a good shop/painter I'd go that route. If you had someone else do the vinyl stripes your going to pay probably half that. I did mine myself (with a helper) so it only cost me material and shipping.

 

Here's my 10" Vinyl BSM silver metallic stripes. After a year in Arizona they do show some weathering. I'd like to have them painted but they want some serious cash around here to have then done right.

 

this is Cashmere, it is like a pearl color, used on the Lincolns and they are painted on.

Thanks everyone for posting, just got her back today. Wow, stripes really make the car look sweet. I went with white stripes 9 1/2" with 1/4" pin stripes. Got them painted on for $1100, that's even clearcoated too so you don't feel the stripes and the 1100 included painting my new hood. I was very impressed with the quality. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

 

painted these on the first month, vista blue silver stripes,the body shop guy did not paint the sides like I wanted , It looks to stock. cervinies kit and hood , side pipes spoiler and bumper, window louvers, trying to upload but my computer wouldnot let me..will try again

I know I'm a little late but oh well. Mine are vinyl and about 10" wide with about 4 inches between... enough to fit the faux fuel filler between them.

 

I am happy with my silver GT/CS stripe.
