Why I picked Tungsten (pics)
Why I picked Tungsten (pics)
It's been said, many times, that Tungsten is a dynamic color. Sometimes it looks great, sometimes dull, sometimes you cringe when the sky goes overcast and the purple starts showing. But then once in a while you have the right lighting and it just stops you in your tracks and you say "D A M N...That's why I picked Tungsten".
So I want to make this thread for everyone to show off pics of their Tungsten Mustangs that really exemplify what they love about T8 and why they picked it. Hopefully this will get enough traffic to get some real good ones. I'll start:

This next one's been enhanced, but not as much as you'd think. I combined 3 different exposures to get the sky, the top of the car, and the shadowed side all about the same brightness.

I know what you're talking about. It's usually around dusk that this color really really pops. I've never had a camera handy to capture it at those moments. But here's the best one I have taken. It was two summers ago after a wash and wax.
Why I picked Tungsten Gray... when I was in the market to buy a Mustang... my two color choices were Screaming Yellow and Tungsten Gray. A friend of mine who is a Massachusetts State Trooper suggest I go with Tungsten Gray for two reasons: Tungsten Gray is a stealth color, the MSP calls Screaming Yellow "Arrest Me Yellow". Since I do play "Right Foot and Accelerator Pedal in Fore Major" on occasion, I heeded my friends advice.
I love how the car changes color ever so slightly depending on which way the sunlight falls on it...
