I was thinking of doing this to my VB 06. How do you do that?

Not sure. Ill take them off, and bring them to my cousins shop that does that kind of stuff. They worked on joe Rogans(fear factor) 70'Cuda and on the TLC show Rides.

I would say black. Red would bring more of the "purple" out. Unless you like the sound of that.

Red only if you have ICAP I would think. I am getting ICAP but I will probably paint them black to hide them and make the wheels stand out a little more.

I like it when the calipers match the body color. I also have the ICAP, but I'm painting my calipers black.
...unless you have ICAP and red stripes, in which case I'd go for red on the calipers too...

Hmmm black or leave em. Yeah I think red is out of the question, no ICAP no stripes.

The stock silver is a good match for Tungsten. If the factory paint doesn't hold up I'm going to repaint them silver but would consider red if I had the ICAP option.

I actually think the standard red caliper would look good on the Tungsten, regardless of ICAP. Can someone photochop the orange! () caliper picture...?

Odly enough I think the orange looks good. I would never even consider it as a color, but after seeing the pic I would have to think about it. It is a little close to Texas orange tho.....Here in Oklahoma Sooner land that might be a big mistake!!!!!

im actually going with a blue color for my calipers that im painting in the next few weeks.. i dont like the idea of a red or a yellow or anything like that. and black would be just black.. and nobody would notice the work i put in.. so blue i think would look both different and very subtle, which is the look im going for with the car

just what im doing.. but i dont suggest any of you do it.. cause then our cars would look the same.. and thats no bueno.

Hey John, first, I say color them black or Blue. Second, your cousin's shop did Rogan's car?!! I saw that episode, that was one awesome 'Cuda! Didn't Jeff Trepanier, the California custom car designer do that car? He isn't your cousin is he? If he is, he's one heck of a car designer!

theres some b4 and after pics for your comparison... i like um. it really is subtle but you can tell somethings not stock. just what im going for. took alot longer than i expected.. the preping with the masking tape took nearly a century, but if you are considering doing this, get G2, the stuff works well.,... but dont cheat yourself on masking!!! take your time, you will thank yourself when your painting... i put about 3 coats on each caliper and i think that stuff is never going to come off. i dont foresee any chipping or cracking.
