Rob - How does the FRPP strut brace work with the plenum cover - any rubbing issues?

cover and strut...........
It is pretty close...but I put a washer on the front of both sides of the strut and it gives just enought room to put a paper towel through....so far no marks on the cover.....keeping fingers crossed..Thanks Rob

I have a 2006 Mustang GT (Tungsten of course) and plan to put around $2K into it in early Feb. It sits stock right now and would really appreciate some advice on how to spend this money. Right now I am thinking either a Roush Fin and Window Louvers with Roush Cold Air Intake and Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust (wheels will have to wait a few more months--as I want 19's to replace my stock 17's). I am curious about the CD Shaker system but cant seem to find any info on performance improvment for that upgrad (and I am scared to death to cut into my hood). Any advice from fellow GT owners?

The CDC Shaker will have minimal if any performance gains over a cold air kit because of all the turns the air has to make in the tubing. That being said, they look cool. I like you am afraid to cut into my hood, but our hoods do have the area marked out already for us if we ever decide to take up the task. So at least the measurment part will be much much easier.
