Most racing Cobras were a dark blue, not Sonic, but certainly not wimpy. Colors are personal. If you find it wimpy, then it's wimpy to you. I personally find pastels kinda wimpy (Windveil, Legend Lime, Zinc Yellow from the 03 stangs, etc.) but that's just me. I don't see those paler cars necessarily as wimpy, and certainly not the drivers, I just don't relate to those colors as well. I also think reds are overdone, and while beautiful, become almost cliche. (This is not intended to criticize any 'stang buyer or anyone's color choice. You asked our opinion.) Oddly, I love white, which most people I discuss it with think doesn't do the Mustang styling justice. I'll probably end up with Sonic Blue. Luckily we all like different things, and Ford is catering to as large a group as possible. You get what you like and don't worry about what others think. After all, you're the one making the payments!

Are you on crack?? Sonic Blue is the Shee-at..........Best Blue I've seen...

 

For some reason, the body lines I think, the Sonic Blue looks different on the 05 and I don't like it.

 

My 67 is Sonic Blue with Silver Frost Metallic stripes that come of the vents on the hood. I think the color looks good...just looks a little purple at times when it's overcast.

 

My current car is Sonic Blue-ish... Mitsu called it Modern Metallic Blue. Looks great when the sun it setting too Even though I hate having cars the same color, my 05 will be Blue as well. Love that color!

Yep..love those blues. Daytona Blue on the 350Z isn't too shabby either.

 

I get tons of comments on how much people like my sonic blue...
I have done nothing to the car at all, stock as the day I drove it off of the lot, although it's cleaner than the day I took it off the lot! : )
It (almost) reminds me of the mystic paint (not to the extreme of course) but the car does change colors from a deep blue to a bluish purple in different light.

 

It's "ok" I like True Blue better or the blue that was on the Viper better than Sonic Blue
