I havnt really seen the sonic blue in person but from pictures i have a feeling its not a ballsy blue more wimpy. If someone can disagree i would appreciate cause its either the sonic blue with white stripes or black with white stripes

Boomer 9/7/04 09:25 AM

Uh, its an attention getting 'get outta my way' blue.

Not wimpy at all.

ace0215 9/7/04 09:27 AM

it's the same blue as on the 04

Galaxie 9/7/04 09:29 AM

It is a very nice blue

I saw it on a 2004 Ranger this weekend. It is not as attention-getting as red or yellow, but still catches your eye.

I am getting sonic on my '05

Beautiful color, my father has a sonic blue F250 and loves it.

TMSBrad 9/7/04 09:31 AM

It can be a really purple kinda blue.

The only better looking blue I have ever seen is real lapis lazuli, on a Jaguar. There is a firm over here that will crush up the real stone very fine and paint your car.... costs something around $10K.

Other than that, this color really gets you, deep and hard to photograph well.

Wimpy? Heck no!

Sonic Blue is cool, but True Blue is better IMHO!!!!!!!!!

When i look at pics of my sonic blue, and then look at it with my own eyes it looks more subtle in the pics. Im sure it will look just as good inperson.

how is a color wimpy? isnt blue for boys?
tell snoop dog his pink cadillac is wimpy and youll see what happens

I've seen a '04 Mustang in Sonic Blue not too long ago in a mall parking structure. Half of it was in the light, the other half was shaded by the structure. The shaded part looked a nice dark blue and the lighted part really grabbed my attention. If you ask me, I think that Sonic Blue color is pretty trick. I'd get it. Wouldn't mind seeing it in True Blue though.

The best colors on this car (for '05) are Redfire, Black and of course Sonic Blue

Can't go wrong with any of those three...

you can have your blacks, reds, yellows... and the speeding tickets that go with them, I'll stick with the more refined, and less noticed windveil blue, and if you see someone passing you in an 05 stang while the cops have ya on the side of the road, you can think of me. As far as any car being a "wimpy" color  whatever dude...

adrenalin 9/7/04 02:18 PM

It is an awesome colour (hence why I ordered it). My 97 GT is Atlantic Blue, very similar in colour and I love it.
