Redfire Owner's..A Mission

okay folks. Need an up close and personal, side by side, comparison of our Redfire next to the Candy Apple. We haqve three large Ford Dealer's here, and NONE, have an 08 Candy Apple yet. All the photo's up so far show no major difference to me.

Soooo, anyone game?? Go searching and look for yourself. And give us a Professional Redfire Owner Opinion.

Check the Candy Apple Red thread. There are a few pics there. From what I see Redfire is a darker red. To me it appears that Candy Apple is a combo of Redfire and Torch Red. It seems to be a brighter red rather than the deep red of Redfire.

I agree that Candy Apple looks like a combo of Redfire and Torch Red. I was thinking the same thing when I saw one yesterday.

I've seen a few pics and it was hard to really see the difference between the two colors but when I stopped into a local dealers several weeks ago they had a 08 Candy Apple Red stang. Ther is quite abit of difference. I really don't like the new color and as someone described it once. "It looks like Ketchup" and it did. Get the slighest bit of dust on it and the color really goes away. The Redfire has a much deeper look to it. IMHO

I saw my 1st Candy Apple at the dealer yesterday, and I still prefer the depth of color of my Redfire. The Candy Apple is a brighter, more red color, with less metallic than the Redfire. It's just not as deep and loses the color changes that you get with the Redfire. Glad I have mine, would have to go Alloy if I was buying today!

i saw on stangsunleashed.com that ford has introduced some "bold" colors and names to their lineup. according to the article, "candyapple red" was voted one of the best colors....
WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO "REDFIRE"????!!!
I think that looks more of a winner to me than candyapple....i like them both but i own 2 redfire gt's.
when i go to car shows, im like the only one there with that color.
and i always get compliments how it sparkles....i didnt see that much from the candyapple. i guess people just dont like the "sparkle" anymore???....

you all have great looking cars....we need more posted up here to show off.

Good idea!!! Here's my Redfire Roush:

Here's a new 2008 Candy Apple Red Roush:

Don't get me wrong, I like the color but its just not one that I would actually go out and buy. Not my favorite shade of red.
