My dealer calls tonight, while I was at a Mustang club board meeting and says that car is there. I have been trying to find out if it was built on Friday. On Saturday Kzinti said he didn't see it, and I spent all day Monday trying to get some info, but BOF was down all day.

I can't believe it got here so fast. Too bad the weather is going to suck the next few days. Wind, rain, and snow, and an hour to the dealer.

It's here and in my garage. I will get some pictures when the weather straightens out. We have high winds here now and are expecting snow today.

Now that it is here, I am rethinking the charcoal stripes. With the black top I'm thinking red stripes might be better

How do I submit thumbnails? I shot some pictures in the garage, but they are large. :scratch:

 

Reduce the pics, then add as an attachment.


You HAVE to go with red stripes!!!
Don't let the color of the top stop you. That's like saying you have to get black just because the grille is. (as well as the mirrors, the weatherstriping, the inside edges of the glass, the headlight buckets, etc)

 

I am thinking that red would be better. I can have them matched to the seats.

Her twin was built 11/12/05 ERL says shipped 11/13/05 changed my ETA from 12/5/05 to 11/23/05. First on its way to the Railyard then I heard on a truck headed to NJ.

I don't know how it happened, but I didn't have to endure the shipping wait. I still can't figure out how my car arrived at the dealer the day before it was built? Kzinti checked again and said the system says it was built on 11/15/05. It arrived at my dealer on 11/14/05.

I hope you get yours ahead of schedule.

 

Looks nice, makes me wish I got a vert!!! But wifey wanted coupe, so when she's happy EVERYBODY's happy. I'd go with the red stripes by the way......

Those dates sure are weird. Did you check the actual VIN on the car to make sure it's the same one the dealer gave you and you in turn gave Kzinti?

Here is my 2006 Perf White Mustang GT, Premium package, side air bags, manual. Current mods include Bassani SS axle back and a Saleen Blower.

 

I guess I'll check in also. White wasn't what I was gonna order but I/ve been getting really great responces. It's my fav color now for this car. I'm really partial to the Sonic blue too

 

There are VERY few new Mustangs I am jealous of... that's one of them.
