I'm a believer in "less is more", particularly when the basic design is so complete and attractive. For example, I'd like to not have the faux hood scoop and decorative rear "spoiler" on either of my S197s. I'd trade you hoods in a second, if you were in reasonable driving distance.
There is something very appealing, not to mention patriotic, about the white cars with broad blue "Le Mans" stripes. I might go for those if I had a core need for stripes. The "C stripes", on the other hand, seem to me to be a bit over the top, to coin a phrase. I don't remember seeing them on a car I liked very much.
Less is more.
