I just got a bunch of Zaino Brothers wax/polish etc. I heard it was the best so I am willing to try it out. My black 05 gt is a pain but Zainos along with the car cover I ordered yesturday should work out fine.

Despite what the poster above said, the best option out there right now isn't Turtle wax or Mothers, or Maguires...it's Zaino.
It takes time to apply the different steps, but it'll turn the surface of your paint into a sheet of glass.

you will notice the little things more than anyone else will.
My brother-in-law has a black car,ALWAYS . But you do notice ANYTHING that is on it. He has it washed weekly, Besides the fact I don't care for black personally,this just confirms to me NEVER buy a black car!

I actually heard that Xaino is sposed to work pretty good, the think I use is the turtle wax air dry nozzle thing. I forget the name. Makes washing the car a breeze by just spraying it down, soaping it up, and spraying it off. Works like a charm and I am usually done in 15-20 minutes. I just ordered my black '05 GT and I'm sorry, even if it is a female dog to keep clean, nothing looks as good as a black Stang roaring down the open road...

I can relate to this situation having just traded in my BLACK '97 Cobra for my new '05 BLACK GT. It is quite a pain in the posterior area that's for sure. I plan on taking a new approach with this one. First, I'm going to start using that new "Mr.Clean" car wash. This product is supposed to rince completely and completely eliminate the need for the Chamois. The other thing is there is some kind of wax that goes on clear and comes off real easily. Supposedly the stuff is real pricy at $50 per container. I believe it's good for 10 applications. I figure it's worth it, after all, our babies deserve the best don't you think?
I'll let everyone know the name of the product as soon as I get it from my friend. He uses it on his dark blue G35 and swears by it.

I know what you mean I used to drive from car wash to car wash.. do it yourself of course...
This is my 96 Cobra when I took a trip to the Southwest...
Since this car, I have only owned Silver.... as with my 05GT.. is also Silver.

Get a pair of those cute girls in the Catholic school uniforms with feather dusters, like they have in Fast and Furious!
This issue, plus how hot the interior will get in So Cal, are the reasons I'm not getting black. Good luck - and remember - it's only a car.

i have trouble keeping my black VW GT clean,,,,,,mush less want to order a Mustang GT in black,,,, Unless i could garage it,,,,
i wouldnt dare get a another car black,,,,,its too much of a pain sometimes,,,,,,

I had a 96 Black Stang for 4 years. And all I can say is good luck. That car is the reason I never want another black car. I also wouldn't want white because I figure they are just as hard to keep clean. Never owned one I have just driven a couple of white rental cars & so it's just what I had encountered with thoses.
So, again good luck with the black. I know it looks good. But no thanks I will stick with my mineral grey.

Ooops, typo. I meant wax every 2 weeks. I was mine every 3 days. My 2003 Jeep is black and yes, it is a pain to keep clean.

Used them since they came out the work good for a really fast dry job and to remove the dust inbetween
i used to work in a body shop and they would use the water blade right after pulling a car out of the paint booth never ever had one scratch even on fresh paint!!! (just make sure its cleen befor you use it)
cost you about 40 for the set and they last a lifetime
