PSH Got a Head Unit!
I am proud to say that Project Source Horse has secured a Pioneer AVIC-D3 thanks to vehicle sponsorship company Team SCP1!
The AVIC-D3 has a great price point and all the functionality I was looking for--CD, DVD, Navigation, seamless iPod integration, customizable button lighting, and much more.
Tom and Mike at Team SCP1 are big Mustang guys with a heritage that reaches back to 1904 when their family raced the first Fords at Ormond Beach.
Register at TeamSCP1.com now and get your Mustang sponsored!
I'll post pix of the AVIC-D3 in the car when it gets installed, which will be in a week or two.

Yeah we'll definitely be playing around with it. Now the time consuming part of the trunk install begins.
that head unit looks sweet!
as far as the sponsorship with TeamSCP, is it simply a matter of filling out the form on the site? aslo does your car need to already have mods or will they accept a stock stang?
i read there FAQ on it and it seems like you don't have to do shows but if you go to shows you need the vinyl on? how big is it?

There is a nominal annual membership fee, but you can easily make that back with what they can save you on mods. Plus, they give you cash if you win your class. The guys there are great; I'm going to talk to some of my other contacts in the industry about joining them as vendors.
I just got approved for semi-pro membership....should I accept it? $10,000 25%-40% co pay-account.... and they said I could work my way up to pro...and there is '$0' copay...is that what you are, Brad?
We are fully sponsored which I am guessing is considered "pro".
