Can you hook it up through the center console glovebox thing? I wouldnt want to have to reach all the way over to change a song.

The description in the catalog says you can hook it up through the center console as well. Are there any instruction on how to do it that way? Plugging in through the glove box doesn't seem to make any sense to me. b/c you will have a long cord just hanging there from the adapter to your iPod.

Hey Colin, from what I can see, the cable that goes from your Ipod, to the input in the glove box, seems pretty long, so you should be able to leave the Ipod in the cup holder, and just change songs. We'll find out once someone gets one of these.

My guess, if it's similar to the other adapters out there and without seeing this product, you would control the ipod through the stereo buttons so no need to actually handle the ipod.
(I thought the PIE adapter, so popular at the moment, would do this (there web site says it will) but it doesn't work that way on Mustangs. It just connects the ipod directly to the stereo)

KC, Thanks for all you do!
I want to get the trip tunes, but also want to get the hands free blue tooth kit. Do these items conflict? I have the shaker 1000 system. Thanks for any info you can provide.

The accessories catalog says it will work with prett much all mp3 players with a 3.5mm jack, which I hope is true since I have an Iriver player myself.
