I Build These Better Than Original in The Detail Of Sealing The Rear of The Puck With The 3m Military Spec Adhesive Vs How Ford Just Attached With GLOBS of Silicone Direct To Painted Rear Leaving Exposed Areas For Debris To get Stuck in and Eat Away From The Rear Of Puck Insert. Many of The Pucks I Remove From Donor bages are Caked With Sand Stuck in The Creases of The Pony Embossing.
I Have 2 Very Nice Inserts Just Waiting For Final Assembly and One Insert With a Few Blems But Still Nice In Process! All of The Sudden Badges Are Flying Down The Road! Sold 10 in The Last 30 Days & 7 Were Running Ponies! Kinda Cleaned Me Out! I Have Plenty I Can Build But As Usual Keep Getting Side Tracked. The Wife Has a Bad Back Injury and is White Knuckeling It Waiting To Have Two Discs Fused. Pain Is Very Overwhelming For Her So I Won't Let Her Do Much Around The House.
We Are Still Rescuing Cats As Well and That is A Labor of Love and I Got To Take Care of Them Pretty Much on My Own For Now! Ironically The Injury was Incurred as we Were Retrieving a Days Old Kitten Who Went Missing after Birth and Found in a Stack of Tires. She Heard a Faint Meow and Followed The Cry. Wife Slipped and Landed on a Canopy Stake. Think a 8 Inch Long Candy Cane Shaped Piece of Steel. Hit about 3 inches Down Her Back. Dr Said She was One Good Fall away From Being Paralysed.
Anyhoo, I Think We Finally Got Her The Best Combo of Meds To At Least Keep Her Fairly Comfortable!

They Have Never Known Simple Human Touch! But They are Safe & Well Fed & Don't Have To Forage The Neighborhood & Face Predators! 2 & 4 Legged! Some of The 2 Legged Variety Are The Worst!

Well The Wife is Two Weeks Into Surgery Recovery and She Tells Me This is Surgery Number 12 For Her! She Needs Another For Her Shoulder. That & Her Fybromyalgia and Living With Pain is A Way of Life For Her. I Have Fybromyalgia As Well But Not All the Other Stuff. Oh I Guess My Double Heart Bypass Does Not Help Me Either! Man Our Warranties Were Up Decades Ago! Well We Keep Plugging Along Trying To Live Day To Day!
Here is What Had To Be Done After The Slip & Fall To Get Her Better! I Told Her With All The Mods I Might Start Calling Her The Bionic Women. She is Doing Better But The Aftercare Communication With The Hospital Has Been Rough With a Particular Nurse With an Attitude! Trying To get The Weekly Pain Meds Correct & in a Timely Fashion Has Been a Major Hurdle and Very Frustrating & Time Consuming!

Six Long Stainless Screws in a Stabilizer For Two Synthetic Disc Replacements. I Grit My Teeth Just Looking At That Setup!
She Has To Wear a Neckbrace Which is Painful in Itself and Has To Sleep on Her Back at a 45 Degree Angle and it Just Drives Her Crazy I'm Her Caregiver And Have To Wake her at Midnight & 4 A.M. Every Night To take Meds. Oh And They Messed Up Her Throat and The Pills Want To Go Down Her Windpipe Quite a Bit. Some Fun.
It's Been Two Years of Her Living With The Fall Pain and Being One Fall Away From Being in a Wheelchair So We Just Had To Get it Done! I Look Forward To Some Smoother Sailing For us at Some Point. It Would Be Nice!
Wow, that is quite the UPGRADE... Shot from the back looked like some kind of chain, but the side shot tells a different story. Hope the recovery continues to go the right direction and this relieves the issues. If she is like me, recovery is slower than it used to be. I know most of my surgeries take a long time to get back to a near normal feel. Slow but steady. Encourage her to stick to that physical therapy routine if and when the get her into something.
