As Expected Demand for Locking Gas Caps is on the Rise. Not Just because Gas is Expensive but because when your gas is stolen your Fuel System can be contaminated or damaged. To Help out I will exempt my Minimum $10.00 Ups Fee and Ship all Locking Gas Cap Orders as Cheaply as Possible. Also Many Ford Dealers do not list a Locking Gas Cap for some models and The Local Dealers JUST SAY NO! I Know how to Cross Reference and Get Caps Not Listed by FORD.

Yea, but the cap is actually For the F-150 isn't it? Ford doesn't sell them for the '05 mustang yet! Buy the one for the F-150 and that might void your warranty if something goes wrong..?

 

I find it exceptionally difficult to believe that this would void a warranty. Since all fuel systems on automobiles as well as light trucks are non-vented (sealed systems) - if the cap fits and seals, it should be just fine...

Another device that's not been seen on the market in the last 20+ years is the Fuel Filler spring. It's a conical shaped spring that fits inside the fuel filler necks and thwarts the entry of a siphon hose. It was a lot more convenient than a locking cap, but it doesn't stop a P-O'd would be thief from dumping sand/sugar/pee into your tank when he finds he can't steal it from you...

 

Ford lists a locking Gas Cap in the Mustang Accesories catolog.

Of course he can I got a locking cap ,door sills and its all good still need a picture of a gas cap I can take and post PDQ Good move to get one , with the way things are going now a days ! Ed

 

hey i did`nt get a knife.............thats not fair.... but i got the locking gas cap...ponycenter caps...car cover...hey kev can you think of anything else...oh yea by the way do yo have 06 ponymats in black witht he iup on the side in stock..need to order more from you

 

I notice on the Ford Dealer Web Page there is a Lot of Backordered Gas Caps. I am in Good shape at the Moment for the Stangs but the other Models may be a Problem. If you are wanting one better move soon.
