I'm guessing that's an air silencer attached to the side of it.
Looks like it comes off pretty easily too. Just have to find a good way to cap off the holes though.

The Pics Just went away. They are on My Work Computer. I will Fix ASAP. I notice none of the Thumbs are Enlarging either. May be a Temporary Site Issue.

FYI. I checked the Box on My 500 with a C&L and it Requires Some Moderate Surgery to work on that Application. I expected a 500 to Be Quite a Bit more Tricky than the GT.

OK, KC I am interested in this. If I understand right, All I would have to change is the airbox part right? Not the elbow? or would I need both the box and the elbow......oh yeah what kind of price range is there on this? I will be coming up north several times in the next few months and could possibly pick it up there. Just wondering.....

Thanks and you rock!!!!

Any idea if this would work in the V6? I like the box. It is so much better looking than the other ones I've seen.

Well, I did it I went and bought this thing for my V6. It will be delivered this week. I will need to contact Doug to see what we can do as far as a tune for me. I'll be posting pictures after it is done.

The next project I have coming up is getting those sweet Bullitt mufflers on my mustang, that is after I get it switched to a dual exhaust!

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I don't think its gonna work. Since the intake tubes are different between the V6 and GT you'll somehow need to create either an adapter between the V6 throttle body and GT tube... or figure out how to attach the dry replaceable cone filter element to the V6 intake tube. Either way I suspect you're gonna have quite the project on your hands!!

Ok so I saw this thing in person on the Bullitt in the showroom and I am impressed with the sealing of the box. After looking at the photos I'm thinking it will fit with my AEM Bruteforce intake. If not it doesn't look like it would take very much fabrication to fit. Check out the photos and let me know what you guys think?

Here are some pictures. Sorry for the long delay. I attached the original V6 hose to the Bullitt airbox by trimming the V6 hose and then putting it over the MAF hose. See photo. There is defiantly an increase in HP! The down fall is that the check engine light comes on so a tune is a must! I have ordered mine from Doug at Bamachips this weekend. I also ordered the Bullitt intake hose from KC to see about splicing it onto my V6 so that the diameter of the hose will be larger, with the exception of the part that connects to the engine.

Over all it was quite easy and I am ecstatic with how it moves now and I can't wait for the tune. It is defiantly a new Horse!!! After I get the tuner I will be able to compare the tune to the two hoses and see if there is a noticeable difference.
Enjoy!

Brian

Kevin - How much for the airbox and intake hose?

Doug - Have you developed a tune for this setup and what were the gains over stock?

Martin
