Factory Engine Cover $$$$$$$$$
Ok Kev, quit teasing! What have you got for the valve covers? The paint I found doesn't match perfectly, it's a little too dark, but in the engine compartment it won't be obvious (I hope). Now I want to wait and see what you've got up your sleeve first!
BTW, the paint is Dupli-Color High Performance Wheel Coating, WP102 Graphite, which is supposedly resistant to "chemicals, heat, and chipping". Ok, so not exactly "high heat", but better than regular spray paint.

I never could find a pic with the cover and a Mineral Grey car, so here it is for those that have been wondering:

I'm glad I noticed this, I was just on my way to the powdercoater.
My friend just got a set of FRRP chrome valve covers and he was going to lend me his as a core replacement. It sounds like I should hold off on this from waht you are saying. I can't wait to see what you have. Please let us know ASAP.
Another extremely satisfied Engine Intake Cover owner. Simple to install and looks great. Color match with Tungsten Grey is pretty good. Thanks Kevin, for the cover and all the other goodies.

I read the Shelby GT500 works but you have to mod the hood - do not want to do this. Also what is the price including shipping to Miami, 33193?
With all the hardware of course.

Okay, I painted my cam covers to match my plenum cover, and the color doesn't match, just as I expected. My solution is to paint the plenum cover to match the cam covers (a much easier task, I am sure). My question is: can I remove the pony without damaging it, or will I have to mask the pony off? The feet were lifting up a bit on the horse when I got it from Ford in the first place, so I'd like to fix that, but my second question is: how do I reattach it? Incidentally, I found some really cool brushed aluminum look vinyl at a sign shop that I think I'll try to re-do the fins and lettering in. Whatcha think?

C&L 25/20
JLT 27.9/21.5
WMS 23.4/20.4
So, JLT is the clear winner, C&L provides more hp, but WMS provides more torque. With the numbers that close and on a dyno, the actual numbers on the street could be nearly identical. In the looks cool category, WMS is the clear winner IMO.
