I finally got a little time to get Andrew to model a silverhorse Tee-Shirt as donated by marcello. Andrew is standing by sister sarahs 67 Fairlane which she calls gilroy and absolutely loves. Her friends think it's pretty cool as well. Now if I could find the Time to fix the A/C it would really be cool! LOL!
As I was editing the pics I found some earlier pics and I was so surprized by Andrews appearance change through the chemo process. When you see someone regularly you don't notice the change as much. It's a bit of a wake up call to how fast things can change.
The coming week is another batch of radical chemo and another week of Andrew and Terri Staying in a motel out of town. I can't wait to have Andrew well and start to have a normal life again. It seems so far away.
As Always Thanks for your support!

That Fairlane is HOT! She'll have to fight the guys off with that car
. I have the next 3 days off so I will make time to visit the donation lab. Last week I was training all week...

A little humor injection...
Well now he has Dad's hair!
Let's hope it's just temporary though, and he gets this kicked soon. Our prayers from our family to yours for a speedy recovery. The time will fly by, hopefully this will just be a blip on the radar a year from now.

UPDATE,
My wife had asked I try & spend some quality time with Andrew on project charger. I gladly agreed. We both turned in early last night so we could get up early sunday and beat the heat.
The plan was Andrew would simply watch & dad would do it all. Well his counts were good & he was feeling fair so I had him put on a longsleeve workshirt, Safety glasses, gloves & hat so he could clean up some of the hardware for the valve covers & intake manifold which we installed today. I think it was good medicine.
This was probably as close to a normal weekend as we have had since April & his diagnoses. Who knows when it will all come together again & we can work together some more.
It's just sad the weekends about over & chemo starts again tommorrow.

Saaaaaweeeet!
Wow, if this does not reflect how strong your soilder at war with cancer is doing, I don't know what would. It looks as if the two of you have a very productive father and son weekend, well deserved and well spent my friend.
That is fantastic. Just... fantastic.
And I'm officially jealous of the fact you got one of those kinda Chargers. My favs. Dad had an SE once. Those are sexy, SEXY beasts. Keep him workin on it when he can! Best therapy is to do stuff, just not overdo.

Those photos brought tears to my eyes. The love between a father and son...my Dad is gone; my son is leaving soon for Navy OCS and I miss him already. Hang tough, KC, whatever comes next you are making eternal memories with Andrew. God bless you all.

Andrew is just like Dad. Loves All Muscle cars. He wrenches on the fairlane for sis and he would like my 67 Ltd parked next to the Dodge! Did you Notice the MOTORCRAFT Battery. That will crank over that Big Block!
On a more serious note the Chemo this week has been brutal and the mix put him into rigor on monday and he had to be put on oxygen. It took about half an hour to get him stable. That's scary stuff.

Update
Situation critical. Andrews chemo is not working. His level of Leukemia is at 80% in his Marrow. He is very weak but home resting. We have to find a new treatment to get him well enough for the Bone Marrow Transplant.
We are searching for some specialists to consult through Mellow Yello Joe. I just wanted to let everybody know we are at a crossroads & would appreciate your continued prayers.
Dad's gonna hang out & play video games as long as he has the energy.

I got a chance to chat a bit with the wife today & she told me we may have to get Andrew to Texas for alternative Treatment. I don't know any specifics yet or how in the world we could pay for that but one step at a time & we will see how it unfolds.
My new job is leaving me even more exhausted with less time to spend on Andrews Financial issues. I am out the door at 6:00 Am and get home at 7:00 Pm. I got enough time to eat, unwind and go to sleep. Weekends are a blur trying to play catch up and it starts over again.
The inlaws were helping out with things but grandma got the shingles & can not be near Andrew anymore. That was our sole source of additional external manpower.
We need a miracle plain & simple.
