Sadly when ford decided to make the ranger bigger, it became too close to the f150. I'd probably just get an f150 unless this got substantially better gas mileage.

Although the next gen f150 I would assume will be getting better mileage anyways.

If this was out when I bought my 2006 Ridgeline I would have bought this instead.

+1.

Plus, I really hate Tundra-looking headlights.

I think it's a good looking truck, especially in that off-road looking trim, but like others have said, it's sort of pointless because it's too close in size to an F150... they might as well call it the F100 or something.

It makes me sad to see the ranger go because I love little trucks. My first vehicle, which I still own in addition to the Mustang is a 1986 Nissan 720 pickup and it's a great little truck.

I'd really like to see Ford make a new ranger that is the same size as the old one.

It's the Ranger that is sold everywhere but the U.S. It comes with turbo diesel power and some pretty nice off road packages...

It's too close to the F-150 in size and (likely) price. As someone who used to have an S-10, it doesn't seem to scratch the small-truck itch. I know a lot of people say they'd like something just a tad smaller/cheaper than F-150 since that truck has grown so much, but I don't think it's anywhere near enough to sustain another product line here.
