I'm liking the concept pics. The pics Hollywood posted up though IMO have basic lines of that but thats it. I'll give the benefit of the doubt though the spy pic is camo'd and not that high quality but still look almost like 2 separate cars.

kind of reminds me of the differences between the current Mondeo and the concept it was derived from... hope Ford goes "bold" without falling over the edge (I hate what happened to the US Focus).

Actually its a dead ringer for the concept, line for line, just uglied up with black tape and tiny wheels. Its also the less svelte 5-door.

Yeah, I looked pretty good at it and compared it to the concept pics...it's pretty close. Sure, the greenhouse got raised a bit, but that's always expected, and the wheels are smaller, but those are probably just one of a few wheel options and I don't think that the consumer looking into purchasing this type of vehicle is going to be too concerned about big and flashy things. It's an economy car. The grill is the same, it just has a blank spot added on, probably for a license plate, which is good because just sticking it on the grill looks tacky. Otherwise, I'm sorry, but the production model looks pretty dead on in terms of dimensions, lines and details, aside from the raised greenhouse...

the main change is the ride height and all of the low to the ground body parts, the giant front grille that never was going to make it anyway....but if you take all of that away...it does look pretty bland.

Job 1 is April 2009 - about 14 months from now.

Igor
From the context, I believe he was talking about US Job 1.
