Thanks for posting, Zoran.

. . . better, but that darn 'greenhouse' still needs to be "de-volkswagonized".

Jason,

I totally agree... while a step in the right direction, it still needs a hit of testosterone to get some more attention.

Agreed. The 500 needs more manliness and sportiness.

Please Ford, build a sport version

I don't believe the 500 is out there to compete with the 300C. Would everyone agree? Unfortunately, Ford doesn't have anything to compete with that car except maybe the Crown Vic and we know that car isn't in the same class.

I think 500 is competition for 300, not 300C.

I agree, it's targeted more at the Avalon buyers. Not every vehicle needs to have to have 500 hp, a stiff suspension, and in your-face-styling, although it seems like every car magazine, blog and "online car enthusiast" seems to think so. Some buyers want a conservative looking, decently performing sedan that isn't a road racer or drag racer. It's good to have choices.

And those buyers just aren't very likely to write articles about cars for magazines or web sites.
I have read some reviews of the 500 done by down to earth reporters, and they totally recognize this car's awesome.

I'm not sure, i can't really tell just yet with the camo still their a little bit, but so far I'm fealing a little disappointed with this refresh. Not because only the front and rear clips have changed, that's what we were expecting, not a complete overhaul. But so far, those headlights just don't look all that cool, plain and simple.

As competition for Toyota/Honda, the engine upgrade's a far mor important component than the styling. Fancy way of saying: better, still not awe-inspiring.

I'll be happy if by that time, the V6 would be able to have 250hp

The D35 (which is going into the 500) makes 263 in Lincoln MKZ and 265 in the Edge/MKX.

Well, this all sounds good to me.

Problem is, don't the headlights look similar to the Edge's
